According to this exercise, each time students repeat what their partner said in their last sentence, and think of a new one themselves. In their new sentence, they should not repeat a place that has been used before.
Examples:
On Monday afternoon, I wasn’t at the park. I was at the market.
At the weekend, I wasn’t at the market. I was at the sports centre.
At the weekend, I wasn’t at the sports centre. I was at library.
On Wednesday, I wasn’t at the library. I was at the Roman Theatre…..
