It was winter. All the animals in the forest were hungry. The wolf, the jackals and the little squirrels in the trees were hungry. The days were cold and the nights were dark. It was very wet and rainy.
One night, the moon was different. It was brighter. It was more beautiful. The stars were brighter too. It was warmer. The animals were happy because it was spring.
